Jotenkin ei jaksa uskoa että km pitää kutinsa. Ensinnäkin olen nähnyt 300SE suomiauton, jossa on 100% varmuudella 138 000 mittarissa ja ensinnäkin konehuone oli paljon puhtaampi kuin tuossa (eikä sitä oltu pesty!) ja toiseksi kangassisusta oli paremmassa kunnossa. Ainakin noista kuvista näyttää, että kuskin penkki on vähän haalistunut ja käsinoja vähän myös, ja veluurin luulisi olevan kestävämpää kuin kangas. Ekaa kertaa tuntui että on liian lyhyt työmatka (65km/sivu)...
Kilsoja 270tkm ja topicin otsikkoon tuossa jo vastasinkin aiemmin.
Autoon on juuri vaihdettu kaikki öljyt ja nesteet ynnä mö, pa, ilmasutit ja tulpat. Ei kyllä kone täristä yhtään.
Vielä pitää siistiä sisältä ja vahata ja suojata kotelot ym. paikat ja vaihtaa muutama palanut polttimo sisälle.

Saakos nuo ikkunahissien katkaisijoiden valot jotenkin vaihdettua? On takaa pimeenä. Entäpä ilmastoinnin nestekidenäytön valot? Minkälaisia polttimoita niihin menee? Myös bensamittarin kohdalta taustavalo pimeenä, lähteekö mittaristo samalla tavalla irti kuin W124:ssä?

, kun sen "auto" napin ottaa irti. Ovat aika syvällä , mutta sopivalla letkunpätkällä lähtevät. Mittaristo lähtee samanlaisilla koukuilla kuin w124.
Mittariston töpseleitä ei välttämättä kannata irrottaa , koska srs valo jää sitten kummittelemaan.

Kiitos Markku! Oli muuten aika hyvät ohjeet tuossa sivustossa takailmastoinnin korjauksestakin. Tuossa minun autossa kun sattuu olemaan sellainenkin enkä ole vielä testannut sitä.

Silloin sammuu myös takaovien nappuloiden valot.

Ajoltaan on varsin mukava mutta ilkeä tärinä tulee siinä 80-90 vauhdissa joka sitten tasaantuu tossa 120 paikkeilla. En tiedä onko renkaista/tasapainotuksesta vai kardaanista. Kardaanin kumikiekot näytti ainakin äkkiä katsottuna olevan ok. Täytynee aloittaa sillä että käy rengasasentamossa tarkistuttamassa renkaat.
Yllättävän pieniruokainen on tuo pikkukasi, ekan tankillisen perusteella näyttäis olevan keskikulutus n. 11

Omamassa on kuitenkin yli 2100kg ja vain 4-vaiht. loota.
Onneksi olkoon minunkin puolestani! Tuli sitten tosi asiallinen joululahja taloon Ahdilta - Ahdille. Kyllä hyvästä ässästä kannattaa aina se muutama lantti enemmän kärsiä kuin "huokeasta" päänsärystä.
Noi pienet värinät ovat tyyppiominaisuus; nakit painavat jo sen verran, että pienikin heitto tuntuu. Kieroilla vanteilla taasen ei aja Erkkikään. Omassa hiekkapuhallutin peltivanteet, jonka jälkeen kumit eivät nousseet oikeaoppisella tavalla vanteen huulille, vaikka rengaskone näytti kaikkien arvojen olevan alle 2gr. Tasapainoituskoneessa piti käydä viikon välein uudestaan ja uudestaan, kunnes kumit asettuivat kunnolla paikoilleen.
Halvimman ja helpoimman diagnoosin saisi heittämällä siihen alle toisen virheettömän rengassetin kokeeksi. Turhaa ruveta hakemaan syitä pidempää ennen kuin renkaista ja vanteista aiheutuvat syyt on suljettu täysin pois.

Ostin elokuussa käyttöautoksi -93 500 SEL:in. Käteisellä 18000 euroa. Sen jälkeen on pitänyt hankkia yhdet vanteet ja kahdet renkaat. Ruoste- vaurioita on korjattu, -suojaus pitää vielä tehdä. Jarrut ravistivat alussa mutta se jouhtui varmaan siitä että levyt olivat yhdeltä sektorilta ruosteessa. Auto oli siis seissyt. Myös lämppäri/ilmastointilaite toimii välillä kuin oman mielensä mukaan (ei nyt enää vähään aikaan, tosin) Sekin voi johtua seisomisen takia juuttuneista osista. Kyseessä on Suomiauto, mittarissa nyt 283000, (ost. 279000). +20K€ on kevyesti mennyt ja bensaa tietysti kuluu oma määränsä. Vastaavasti kyyti on jotain aivan toista, kuin "tavallisissa" autoissa, MUKAVAA. Tarvittaessa V8 moottori vastaa kaasuun kumealla murinalla ja 2000 kg syöksähtää eteenpäin ripeästi. Suosittelen, todella hyvä auto. Olisi muuten kiva tietää auton historia. Se on rekisteröity 2.6.1993. Laman jälkeen tällaisen auton ostajia ei varmaan joka oksalla istunut...

Mullakin w140 vähän täristelee ajoittain, 80 - 120 vauhdeissa. Renkaiden tasapaino kyllä vaikuttaa selvästi, uudelleen tasapainotus auttoi hieman. Mutta renkaathan ei aivan täydelliset ole koskaan.
Oma teoriani on että pyörientuennassa on löysää jossain ja fillarit pääsee siksi värähtelemään. Alatukivarsien puslat vaikuttaa hieman löysiltä, ajattelin ne vaihtaa ja samalla alapallot kunhan joskus saan inspiraation ryhtyä hommiin. Väljät pyöränlaakeritkin voi ehka aiheuttaa tärinää.
Toinen havainto on että kun ihan normaalin tasaisesti kulkevalla w124:llä ajaessa nyt tarkkaan tunnustelee niin monenmoista tärinää on kyllä vähintään saman verran kuin täristävässä ässässä. Mutta siinä renkaiden yms. aiheuttamat tärinät ikäänkuin peittyy tien pinnan aiheuttamien alle. Koska ässässä tien pinnan epätasaisuudet ei samallatavalla tunnu niin renkaiden täristys on helpommin havaittavissa.
