If you worry about your exhaust valves, you should try to get the stock valves from the turbocharged OM617, which are natrium-cooled.
I'm sure they will not be cheap but worth it!

Most probably transmission starts slipping with gear changes, since torque from the engine increases. There's a adjustment screw on the drivers side of the transmission. Remove rubber cab and pull out adjustment dial. By turning it clockwise increases pressure and makes shifts more firm. I just tur...
