Wow... That's quite a big difference... If i buy a engine with no heads and stuff i'll upgrade them to. By the way, i've bought the kkk k29 turbo. It was just 150 euro's and i saw dieselmeken using it on a merc. Spools up nice. If it doesn't work out i'll get rid of it and search for a better turbo....

I can actually upgrade my injectors to a higher opening pressure. My boss can help me with that. He has some stuff and an box full of shims (? Those "whashers" with different thickness) to adjust opening pressure. But for now they wil probally work fine... Got some more future plans. First...

No smoke untill i rev it up i think no rods have bend. Because i'll probally notice when they are just slightly bend. I mean white smoke and misfires

Yeah, i hope so to. Just talked to a mercedes mechanic (a internet friend of my) he said the rod's don't bend that easily. They can take quite a beat. He only saw it once, where a leaky injector caused a bend rod. Story seems a bit weird cause there's not enough fuel in one stroke to fill up partly ...

By banjo check valve i mean the bolt with the little ball in it between the engine and pump. Or is this a one-way valve?

Are you sure after tdc? 48 degrees off timing it could never run that good?

Pump timing is set at 24 degrees before tdc. I used the markings on de side of the pump. The weird thing is it ran perfectly. Nice idle and no smoke. No knocking either. I didn't touch it. Ahh thnx dude. I've noticed little holes in the lifters. That will probally be the holes to pin the screwdrives or little pins in. Now that i'm close to buying a car and i look at those youtube movies it gets me really motivated and excited.

Ok maybe i'll just get a hx40. Those are plenty avalable. And i can get some more hp. 300 hp? Thats faily common with 7mm and a hx40 i think. I actually got a scrap w124 and took the pump appart. Its fairly easy and after some studying i now know how the thing works. But i now need the 7mm elements....
