I have the piston collar out but not the piston it self. How do I remove the element? Any PDF's or links would be great!

Look at the GT25 or so VNT series. You will want an EGT/EGP sensor. The Finns use fuel mapping as well.

Have any of you guys messed with the deliver collars? A few of us over at STD have done so with good and bad results. Lots of power, lots of smoke and high EGT. Just wondering if you guys had looked at these before.

Its more than just the pistons. The crank, the valves the under piston oil squirters. You are better starting with a turboed eng and then working your way up.
